ABOUT

The Fanlistings
A fanlisting is a website that gathers and lists the fans of something. There are fanlistings for episodes, animals, actors, toys - just about anything you can think of! This addictive idea is the brainchild of the lovely Janine, and you can find out more about it at the homepage here.

Angel Comics
Published by Dark Horse Comics, Angel ran for two volumes, seventeen and four issues respectively. There was also a three-issue special, BtVS: Angel, plus the mini-stories that appeared in Dark Horse Presents. And word on the street is that with the television series ended, Joss Whedon is planning to continue the title, the first issue of which could be released as early as Summer, 2005!

Just as the Angel TV series spun off of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Angel comics followed from the BtVS comics, starting with the BtVS:Angel mini-series. The titles continued to cross over from time to time, and each followed the events on television, sometimes intersecting with events on the shows, more often filling in the gaps with adventures we didn't see onscreen.

The Angel comics gave us further glimpses into Angel's past and showed us more of his life in Los Angeles. We even got to know Phantom Dennis a little better! From the early days with Doyle, through the addition of Wesley and Gunn to the team, each story arc reads like an episode of the show. And whether you're new to Angel comics or want to expand your collection, if you're looking for an Angel fix, I highly recommend picking up the Trade Paperbacks listed in the extras!
